Job summary

KFC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to keep restaurant technology running—from mobile apps to Kubernetes edge systems. The role blends hands-on implementation with automation, tooling, and engineering to improve support delivery.

You will work across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, enterprise networking, Linux systems, APIs, automation, and device management, with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized apps.
• Proficient in Linux and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Ability to build automations and runbooks.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy mobile app deployments and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in lab and testing environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices, primarily switches.
• Investigate and resolve issues involving Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and supporting infrastructure.
• Proactively monitor restaurant technology systems and coordinate responses.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and IT teams; participate in on-call rotations.
