Job summary

Yum! Brands is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to keep restaurant technology running and improve support through automation, tooling, and engineering.

You’ll work across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Linux systems, APIs, and automation, with opportunities to grow early in your career. You will join a hands-on team focused on solving complex problems, learning continuously, and contributing to scalable, reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux, macOS, or WSL command-line environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Ability to learn independently and share knowledge with teammates.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical partners.
• Ownership mindset and proactive problem solving.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and scripting.
• Desire to improve systems beyond day-to-day support.
• Comfort working across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, networking, and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Support mobile app deployments and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in lab and testing environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices, primarily switches.
• Investigate Kubernetes apps, Linux systems, networking, and supporting infrastructure.
• Proactively monitor restaurant technology systems and coordinate responses.
• Build automations and internal tools to reduce repetitive work.
