Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate reliable, scalable systems across our platform. This role emphasizes DevOps, SRE principles, and software engineering to improve reliability, automate operations, and support high-availability production environments.

The ideal candidate will drive incident response, observability, and proactive reliability improvements, collaborating with engineering, platform, and product teams to ensure reliability from the start

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and years of experience in SRE
Experience designing and automating container and cloud-based platform products
Proven ability to build reliable, scalable, and observable systems

Responsibilities

Design, build and operate resilient, scalable systems using DevOps, SRE practices
Deliver high-availability services through automation and IaC
Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for distributed systems
Support CI/CD automation and production tooling to reduce toil
Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and recovery improvements
Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability into the lifecycle
Automate provisioning, configuration, and self-healing across environments
Validate resiliency and performance via testing, chaos engineering, and capacity planning
