Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to lead and coordinate a variety of engineering design services focused on hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, stormwater management, water quality retrofits, and stream restoration or mitigation efforts.
This role involves managing feasibility studies, preparing detailed design plans and construction documentation, supporting project permitting, and overseeing construction-phase services. The engineer will contribute technical expertise on large watershed studies or multiple smaller-scale projects with complex drainage systems.
The ideal candidate will apply both standard and advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling techniques, ensure compliance with municipal and federal regulations, and engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Strong communication skills and a commitment to technical excellence are essential—along with a desire for career growth into senior project management roles.
