Job Description
The Senior Treasury Analyst reports to the Director, Strategic Payment Solutions and is responsible for leading payment solution initiatives, coordinating between payment vendors and the business to prepare for changes and resolve issues, and identifying trends and gaining insights through payment data within both stores and/or ecommerce environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading enterprise-wide payment processing initiatives identified by the Strategic Payment Solution team to introduce new payment solutions, enhance security and features for existing payment solutions, and realize related cost savings.
- Responsible for communicating with business process owners and IT teams affected by payment solution updates, migrations, and outages to act as a liaison with payment vendors to resolve issues and obtain needed resources.
- Responsible for gift card processes related to planning, replenishment, activations/deactivations, and coordinating with vendors for expansion of gift card programs, compliance matters, and process improvements.
- Responsible for monitoring ecommerce and retail fraud trends and working with available tools to develop responses to protect company assets.
- Facilitates training and onboarding of new solutions for business users to incorporate new processes into their job functions and tasks.
- Performs reporting on payment solutions to understand trends in payment activity, identify processing issues, evaluate the effectiveness of solutions, and detect anomalies that may present increased risks to the business.
- Collaborates with leaders and team members on special assignments, as requested.
- Supports the implementation of new Treasury systems and processes by performing process walkthroughs, creating process flows, and documenting operating procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, finance, or a related business field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of related Business Operations and/or Finance experience and/or training, with at least 1 year in a Business Operations role.
- Knowledge of payment transaction systems in a corporate environment, including banking and merchant processing systems.
- Required skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills; understanding of financial modeling and data mining.
- Knowledge of documentation writing and process flowchart creation.
- Ability to achieve high, sustainable performance and results; uses logic and insight to solve difficult problems and create effective solutions.
- Ability to respond effectively to change and manage conflicting priorities comfortably.
- Must be able to travel 10-20% of the time for conferences, professional development, and meetings with internal customers and vendors.
