POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing daily and monthly treasury operations, ensuring cash activity is accurately recorded, and reconciling all bank accounts across multiple entities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining transactional integrity, identifying reconciling items, and supporting enterprise-wide visibility into liquidity and cash flow. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, private equity-backed environment and bring hands-on experience in NetSuite treasury modules and banking operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across operating, provider, and holding accounts.
• Investigate and resolve unreconciled transactions, timing differences, and discrepancies in clearing or suspense accounts.
• Record treasury-related journal entries and ensure accurate reflection of cash activity in the general ledger.
• Monitor incoming payments, wires, ACH transfers, and disbursements, escalating variances or exceptions as needed.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, and payroll teams to validate bank activity against subledger records.
• Lead and own the weekly submission of the 13-week cash flow forecast, coordinating inputs and updates from key stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve the cash flow forecasting model, identifying patterns, cash needs, and liquidity trends.
• Support intercompany funding movements, sweep transactions, and internal cash transfers across legal entities.
• Serve as a liaison with banking partners and help manage treasury controls, signatories, and compliance records.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to treasury-related requests during internal and external audits.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10 years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on treasury, reconciliations, and forecasting.
• NetSuite experience is required and non-negotiable, including the bank reconciliation and cash management modules.
• Demonstrated experience preparing and maintaining a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Experience in multi-entity environments with complex cash structures and intercompany activity.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and cash flow modeling.
• Private equity-backed or high-growth organization experience is strongly preferred.
