Job summary

Edina Realty Title seeks a Sr. Title Closing Processor for our Brainerd/Baxter, MN closing center. You will prepare closing files, balance disclosures, and work with Closers, Lenders, production staff and Agents to support buyers’ and sellers’ big day.

This in-office role emphasizes accuracy, compliance and timely communication. You will handle escrow accounting, lender packages and title evidence, ensuring smooth closings for real estate transactions.

• Monitor transactions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance; gather required information.
• Resolve title issues prior to closing to ensure a smooth closing table.
• Submit deposits, disbursement documents and commission packages as needed.

Description

Edina Realty Title is seeking a Sr. Title Closing Processor for ourBrainerd/Baxter, MNclosing center.Work as part of the closing team and become an integral part of our buyers’ and sellers’ big day.As aSr. Title Closing Processor, you willbe responsible forpreparing closing files that will be reviewed and signed at the closing table.You’llwork side-by-side with Closers, Lenders, productionstaffand Agents asa keyteam member.This is an in-office position, working Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and balance the closing disclosure, settlementstatementsand documentation necessary for closing the transaction.
• Ensure that professional and proper procedures are followed in the closing of the real estate and mortgage transactions. This includes proper accounting of escrow funds, reviewing lender packages, recording packages, and correction of all if necessary.
• Monitor the upcoming transaction, reviewing for completeness and compliance and ensuring all necessary information has been ordered and isaccurate,i.e.payoff, abstract, title evidence, reports, mortgage documentation, and other pertinent information and review for completeness and compliance.
• Ensure that title issues are resolved prior to closing.
• Prepare andsubmitdeposits and disbursement documentation and/or commission package to appropriate entities.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience and knowledge.

Experience:

• Twotofiveyears of real estate,mortgageor title experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work efficiently, handle deadline pressures and work as a member in ateam-environment.
• Effective interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, with a customerservice focus.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.Mustpossessa strong aptitude for figures.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

• Ability to occasionally work extra hours during peak times of the month.
• Willingness to travel
