Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a Senior Test Technician with a leading technology organization specializing in advanced microscopy, spectroscopy, and precision systems used across materials science, life sciences, electronics, and other high-tech industries.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with experience in precision mechanical assembly, manufacturing testing, troubleshooting, and test equipment. The Senior Test Technician will support assembly, integration, and final testing of complex systems while helping maintain high standards for product quality, safety, and reliability.
Perform product and system testing using established methods, procedures, and work instructions
Collect and analyze test data to support manufacturing and process decisions
Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic assemblies to identify and resolve issues
Set up, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Rebuild or repair manufacturing equipment as needed to maintain operability
Read detailed drawings and work with mechanical and electronic components at the component and system level
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices
Work collaboratively with a team of approximately 8–10 colleagues
Support projects and provide training as needed
Follow cleanroom procedures and required PPE standards
Maintain strong attention to safety, quality, documentation, and detailed work instructions
High school diploma or equivalent required
2-year technical degree preferred or 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Experience with precision mechanical assembly and/or low-volume, complex manufacturing preferred
Digital Multimeter (DMM) experience required
Hands-on troubleshooting experience required
Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes preferred
Ability to read detailed mechanical and electrical drawings
Ability to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical assemblies at the component and system level
Experience with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with appropriate PPE
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

You’ll have the opportunity to work hands‑on with complex precision technology while contributing directly to product quality, testing, and manufacturing performance.
The initial contract runs through March 29, 2027 , with potential for extension and the possibility of a longer‑term opportunity based on business needs and performance.
$28.00 to $31.00 per hour
