Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you’re capable of?

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. It’s a massive, ambitious opportunity that demands the best of us, every day, as we build the emerging onchain platform — and with it, the future global financial system.

To achieve our mission, we’re seeking a very specific candidate. We want someone who is passionate about our mission and who believes in the power of crypto and blockchain technology to update the financial system. We want someone who is eager to leave their mark on the world, who relishes the pressure and privilege of working with high caliber colleagues, and who actively seeks feedback to keep leveling up. We want someone who will run towards, not away from, solving the company’s hardest problems.

Our work culture is intense and isn’t for everyone. But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be.

While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

The Talent Programs team at Coinbase is responsible for defining our hiring strategy & processes, and keeping the recruiting engine running efficiently and with the highest quality. We partner cross-functionally daily with Talent, People Analytics, HR Tech and People Operations to bring our programs and initiatives to life. We don’t just wait for things to happen; we are always looking around the corner and taking action. Innovation is our game; we're always searching for smart, practical ways to do better work. When the unexpected hits, we're on it, tackling problems head-on.

We are looking for a Talent Process Specialist to drive process design, optimization, and technology enablement across the top-of-funnel stages of our recruiting process. This role will focus on improving efficiency and automation in areas such as sourcing, candidate engagement, and CRM adoption. You will partner with Recruitment Marketing, Talent Leaders, and HR Technology teams to ensure our tools and workflows enable seamless talent attraction and conversion.

Your ability to drive continuous improvement, build strong stakeholder relationships, and adapt in a fast-paced environment will be critical to success. If you thrive in solving complex operational challenges and improving how we hire, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Design and optimize top-of-funnel recruiting processes, including sourcing, lead generation, outreach, and candidate nurturing.
  • Drive CRM adoption, ensuring recruiters leverage the system effectively to build, track, and engage talent pipelines.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions that improve recruiter productivity and candidate experience.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and Recruiting Operations teams to align technology, automation, and best practices for top-of-funnel success.
  • Develop and deliver training, documentation, and change management strategies to increase adoption and usage of recruiting technologies.
  • Partner with recruitment marketing teams to create content that will drive CRM utilization and engagement.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in recruiting technology, automation, and data-driven sourcing to bring innovative solutions to the team.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): To be completed by all business teams except Eng.

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting operations, talent process optimization, or talent acquisition technology.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting systems and tools (e.g., Gem, Greenhouse) and experience driving system adoption and flow of activity from LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience optimizing recruiting workflows and automation strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend process improvements.
  • Ability to lead change management efforts, including training and enablement programs for recruiters and sourcers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice to haves:

  • Understanding of data privacy and compliance considerations related to recruitment technology and CRM usage.
  • Experience with AI-powered sourcing tools and recruiting automation.
