Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Senior System/Network Engineer for NCR or San Antonio, TX. The role leads design and deployment of Kubernetes-based infrastructure, cloud-native architectures, and secure, scalable systems. Strong emphasis on IaC and RMF compliance, with a TS/SCI clearance required.

You will collaborate with development teams to optimize performance, implement monitoring, and drive disaster recovery and high availability. US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (or equivalent substitution).
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, and security.
• Experience designing multi-cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Understanding of DoD security requirements and RMF.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Must be U.S. citizen.

Salary & Benefits The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
