Nightwing is seeking a Senior System/Network Engineer to lead infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization for our unified solution. You will drive cloud-native architectures, ensure scalability, resilience, and security while collaborating with development teams. Minimum 10 years in system/network engineering, TS/SCI with CI Polygraph, and a U.S.

citizen. Location options include NCR or San Antonio, TX. Leadership, mentoring, and DoD RMF experience are essential to success.

The Senior System/Network Engineer leads infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization efforts for the unified solution. This position provides technical leadership for complex infrastructure challenges, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, and secure. The engineer works closely with development teams to implement cloud-native architectures and optimize system performance.

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)


• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration


• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)


• Understanding of DoD security requirements and RMF


• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph


• Must be U.S. citizen

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
