Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a Senior Supplier Development Engineer for the Electronics Value Stream to ensure supplier quality and reliability, develop strategic partnerships, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

You will report to our Sr Director of Supplier Development and work in a Hybrid environment, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to raise supplier performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering and supplier development experience
• Global mindset: capable of working across borders
• US Citizen due to contractual requirements

Responsibilities

• Supplier Capability Assessment: evaluate supplier capabilities and support hardware transition from development to production
• Quality Improvement Plans: conduct supplier risk assessments and implement targeted improvements
• Performance Management: lead capacity assessments and set clear metrics for supplier performance
• Operational Excellence: partner with suppliers on OPEX projects to improve flow, throughput, lead time, and yield
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure suppliers meet quality systems and regulatory requirements
• Collaborative Engagement: work with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to resolve supplier issues
