Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking a Senior Superintendent for Life Science projects. You will lead daily field operations, drive safety and quality, and ensure timely delivery on complex sites.

You will collaborate with Project Managers to keep the schedule in line with budget and goals while maintaining strong site communications. The role emphasizes mentoring field personnel, fostering teamwork, and guiding teams through high-visibility, multi-trade environments within Life Science and related

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent with a general contractor.
• Proven ability to manage field personnel and all trades on site, with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience training, developing, and mentoring team members.
• Project experience in Life Science, Defense Light, Commercial, MSBA, Massport, or Higher Education sectors.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $10M to $50M in size.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily field operations to ensure site safety, construction progress, quality control, and site cleanliness.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of project strategy, including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain an accurate and updated project schedule that aligns with cost and time requirements.
• Maintain open and effective communication with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations, and project direction.
• Promote positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring fair and professional interactions and instilling this philosophy within the project team.
• Mentor, train, and develop field personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
