Job summary

Michael Page US is partnering with a nationally recognized commercial general contractor to hire a senior field superintendent to lead onsite construction from mobilization to project completion.

You will coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers, mentor field staff, ensure safety, scheduling, and cost control, and deliver complex ground-up projects across higher education and municipal sectors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction supervision experience.
• Proven success delivering ground-up light industrial projects.
• Experience managing higher education and municipal construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to lead large project teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, sequencing, and site logistics plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and company procedures.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineering teams.
• Conduct regular site meetings and progress reporting.
• Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to minimize delays and cost impacts.
• Mentor and develop field staff and emerging superintendents.
