Job Description
The location of this position is flexible and can be performed from any of our Apex offices (Fargo, Bismarck, Dickinson, ND or Detroit Lakes, St. Cloud, or Minnetonka MN) or remotely within 250 miles of an Apex office. This position is considered a strategic hire and offers an opportunity to develop a structural-bridge team by expanding Apex’s transportation capabilities to public and private clients. The person will report directly to Apex’s Transportation Sector Leader. Attendance in person at key business, client, and project meetings, including personnel meetings if they are a direct supervisor, is expected.
Key responsibilities include involvement with technical work and managing projects requiring bridge designs and drainage structures for transportation and water resource projects. The role also involves developing new opportunities, preparing technical proposals, participating in project pursuit interviews, and collaborating on projects with other managers.
