What You Will Be Doing:

As a Senior Structural Project Manager, you will lead design teams, assist with team development, and support business development efforts. Projects will include highway infrastructure such as interchanges, pedestrian and river crossing bridges, retaining walls, and parking structures.

• Cultivate new client relationships in dynamic markets for transportation projects to support business growth in North Dakota.
• Utilize your expertise in DOT project management and bridge project design, including replacement and preservation.
• Collaborate with contractors and owners to develop innovative construction staging approaches.
• Lead junior staff and promote their technical skill development.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in North Dakota.
• Experience managing and mentoring staff.
• Experience with project management, proposal development, and business development.

Qualifications:

• MS in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in bridge design and plan preparation.
• Registered Structural Engineer (S.E.).
• Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Design Standards.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and/or Civil 3D software.
• Experience with finite element analysis.
• Proficiency in bridge engineering software such as RCPier, Conspan, MathCad, Staad, etc.
• Bridge inspection training and load rating experience.
