Job summary

WellSky Corporation is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead design and delivery of large-scale software systems. You will steer cross-functional teams from concept to deployment, ensuring scalable, reliable solutions that align with business goals.

You will champion quality with CI/CD, collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers, and drive adoption of AI tooling and cloud technologies to enhance decision-making and productivity across WellSky's platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 12 - 15 years related work experience.
• Proficient with C#, SQL Server, Vue, VB.NET.
• Proficient with Cloud technologies (preferably GCP).
• Hands on experience with Claude Code or similar AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, complex software systems that increase high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead cross-functional teams through all stages of development, from concept to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
• Collaborate with solution managers, designers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define requirements and design technical solutions that align with business goals.
• Champion technical excellence and work to align engineering initiatives with WellSky strategy.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and high-quality software engineering practices by providing technical guidance to experienced engineers and leaders to elevate the team’s capabilities and skill sets.
• Lead efforts to drive the adoption of best practices across engineering teams, promote solution innovation, and research and evaluate new technologies, tools, AI capabilities, and methodologies that improve the efficiency, scalability, and performance of WellSky solutions.
• Influence the use of automated testing, CI/CD processes, and promote high standards of code quality, testing, and operational reliability.
• Leverage AI tools and platforms as an integral part of daily responsibilities to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive data-informed outcomes.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

The scope of this job includes building and optimizing comprehensive solutions that prioritize end-user efficiency and experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
