As a Senior Software Engineer on the USP Team at CoverMyMeds, you’ll create solutions that make our healthcare system work more efficiently and effectively in order to help millions of people receive their prescription medications every year. You’ll build products that our partners in healthcare use every day and innovate products that don't even exist yet. You’ll work on small, cross-functional, and collaborative teams with endless opportunities to take on responsibility, continue learning, and mentor others.

Our Tech Stack: Node.js, Typescript, React, Redux, Apollo, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Azure Cloud Services.

What You’ll Do: CoverMyMeds has built many products to solve complex Healthcare problems. You'll help build solutions with Product Alignment and contribute to our applications in many ways, including:

1. Design and develop cloud-native web applications and APIs for the CoverMyMeds product line.
2. Jump into both the front-end and back-end of solutions, with the exact balance depending on the project and team.
3. Own the quality of the solutions you create through automated testing, and support and maintain your solutions after they’re in production.
4. Contribute to a productive agile environment by partnering closely with necessary stakeholders, deploying often, and inspecting and adapting as needed.
5. Partner with technology platform teams to identify required cloud-native capabilities and implement while adhering to industry best practices.

Location: Candidate must be based in the metropolitan area of Columbus, OH. Position will primarily allow for remote working.

About You:

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Critical skills:
• Around 7+ years of experience in back-end web development (don’t know our tech stack? No problem. We hire from all tech stacks and training’s on us).
• Knowledgeable in front-end web development technologies and techniques.
• Proficient in development of cloud-native software leveraging modern persistence and integration techniques.

Non-technical skills:

• Able to navigate ambiguity and drive towards completion.
• Able to execute the development roadmap for complex, multi-phase projects, possibly as a project tech lead.
• Understand the implications of decisions and adjust approach based on impact and risk in the short and long-term.
• Proactively share information to keep teams aligned.

Senior Software Engineers should also demonstrate:

• Influence how teams organize and execute their work positively.
• Demonstrate leadership regularly.
• Have a strong grasp of long-term business risks and how to minimize using technology.
• Experience developing solutions using domain-driven design techniques.

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base pay ranging from $126,000 to $210,000, performance-based bonuses, and benefits. Pay is determined by experience, skills, and location, and is compliant with regulations.
