You will be a subject matter expert on Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Data Integrator, WebMethods, and associated technologies, including Manhattan IFEE Integration Framework, WebLogic, and Java-based integration services. You will build and administer application instances and database schemas, monitor performance, and propose adjustments.

Qualifications

  • BS degree or equivalent with 2–4 years of related experience, or GED with 5–7+ years in integration.
  • Extensive middleware experience with Oracle SOA Suite, ODI, WebMethods, architecture and integration solutions.
  • Strong Java and SQL coding and design capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 1–3 support for global integration and act as SME on Oracle/SOA suite and related tech.
  • Build and administer application instances and database schemas; monitor performance and optimize as needed.
  • Prepare functional/technical specs and approve code in the primary area of expertise.
  • Research issues and clarify requirements with analysts to design solutions.
  • Prepare estimates and schedules; support governance processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Responsibilities:
  • The Sr. Software Engineer will provide level 1, 2, and 3 support for global integration, serving as a Subject Matter Expert on Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Data Integrator, webMethods Integration Platform, Manhattan IFEE Integration Framework, Weblogic Application Servers, ETL technologies, Linux, Oracle Database development, and Java-based integration services

  • Build and administer application instances and database schemas to support the implemented architecture, monitor and troubleshoot performance, and make adjustments and recommendations as needed

  • Create deliverables according to the software development lifecycle, such as functional and technical specifications, and approve any code related to the primary area of expertise

  • Research application issues and enhancement requests, clarify business requirements with business analysts, and design solutions accordingly

  • Prepare work estimates and schedules to support PM/BA by providing input into issue and problem management and IT governance processes

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 2 to 4 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience supporting Integration/Middleware using stack technologies

  • 5 plus years of professional experience with Middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Data Integrator, WebMethods), architecture and implementation of integration solutions, supporting "Red Stack" systems (Linux, Weblogic), writing custom Java libraries, and translating business requirements into technical designs, code, and test logic
