Akina Inc. in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to advance CNO tools using Python, AI/ML, and related technologies. This role demands TS/SCI w/ poly clearance and a deep understanding of mission data flows.

You will lead projects from concept to delivery, work with mission stakeholders, and collaborate with software engineers to test workflows and address reverse engineering challenges. Experience with Python, AI systems, and cloud/Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Production-grade software development in Python.
• Experience in CNO tools for operational use.
• Experience with AI systems and AI model customization.
• Practical experience with platforms processing Agency data sets.
• Experience with source control (Git) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience eliciting requirements from stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a CNO project from inception to delivery, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
• Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and propose fixes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address real-world reverse engineering challenges.
• Overcome obstacles in project execution.
