Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to advance CNO development through Python-based tools and AI/ML workflows. The role emphasizes collaboration with mission stakeholders and multiple development groups to design, build, test, and integrate new workflows enabled by AI technologies.

You will guide architecture and implementation across domains, ensuring robust data handling, security, and alignment with customer objectives. A TS/SCI w/ poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Python development experience.
• Experience within the CNO developer domain developing tools for operational use.
• Experience with development of AI systems and customizing of AI models.
• Practical experience with platforms for processing Agency data sets.
• Experience with software source control (git) and Atlassian tool suite - Jira, Confluence.
• Experience interacting with stakeholders to elicit requirements.
• Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project from inception to delivery in the CNO domain, including problem decomposition, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
• Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and devise solutions.
• Collaborate with other software engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and recommend pathways for fixes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address real-world reverse engineering challenges.
• Overcome inevitable obstacles.
