Join us as a Sr Site Inventory Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific

We are seeking a dedicated Sr Site Inventory Specialist to support our mission of creating a healthier, cleaner, and safer world. This full-time role involves managing inventory, assisting in laboratory settings, and ensuring smooth operations through desktop delivery services.

Environmental Conditions

• Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
• Work in laboratory and office environments
• Use of PPE such as safety glasses, gowns, gloves, lab coats, ear plugs
• Work with hazardous/toxic materials

Work Schedule

First Shift (Days)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage stockroom services, order entry, and order management
• Utilize procurement systems and track chemicals
• Conduct safety showers and eyewash inspections
• Engage with customers, sales reps, and management to optimize service
• Attend team meetings and provide guidance and training to team members

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Attention to detail and high accuracy
• Experience in inventory management, preferably in similar industries
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Hands-on lab experience preferred
• Problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with handheld scanners
