Your Role: Senior Inventory Management Specialist

As a Senior Inventory Management Specialist, you'll be the vital link in ensuring smooth laboratory operations for our valued customers. You'll leverage your organizational skills and attention to detail to manage inventory, fulfill orders, and provide exceptional on-site support. This is an opportunity to build strong relationships, solve challenges, and contribute to a dynamic and essential team.

What You'll Do:

  • Utilize electronic systems to efficiently manage inventory, including replenishments, receiving, stock rotation, and order processing.
  • Provide essential laboratory services such as timely order delivery, glassware processing, biological waste handling, and chemical inventory management.
  • Analyze reports to ensure we consistently meet our contractual commitments and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Actively participate in site safety programs, contributing to a secure and compliant work environment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team's success.

What You'll Bring:

  • Completion of high school or equivalent experience is required.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a laboratory or customer service setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to establish rapport and collaborate optimally with diverse teams and customer personnel.
  • Proficiency in using handheld scanners and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to lead multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English.

Work Environment:

This role is primarily based at customer sites, offering a dynamic and independent work environment. You may be working in areas where chemical-based allergens are present and will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. The role involves regular physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs and moving heavier items with equipment. You should also be comfortable working in environments with varied temperatures.
