Job summary

ASB Resources is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support a client engagement focused on implementing ServiceNow's Procurement Management capabilities and related workflows.

The role involves configuring out-of-the-box procurement capabilities, tailoring workflow automation to client requirements, and building a custom integration between ServiceNow and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) via an existing REST API.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow development experience with client scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, and ACLs.
• Proven ability to design and administer ServiceNow workflows and Flow Designer flows.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and administration.
• Experience with Procurement/ sourcing workflows or ITSM/ITBM modules is a plus.
• Experience building or consuming REST API integrations, including authentication and error handling.

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support a client engagement focused on implementing ServiceNow's built-in Procurement Management functionality and its associated workflows. The role involves configuring out-of-the-box procurement capabilities, tailoring workflow automation to client requirements, and building a custom integration between ServiceNow and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) via an existing REST API. This is a hands‑on development role requiring strong core ServiceNow platform skills and workflow expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure ServiceNow's built-in Procurement module, including catalog items, requisitions, purchase orders, and receiving workflows.
• Design, build, and administer workflows and flows (Flow Designer / Workflow Editor) associated with procurement processes.
• Develop custom integration logic connecting ServiceNow to Oracle EBS, tying into and modifying existing REST API endpoints to support data exchange.
• Customize forms, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and script includes to meet client‑specific procurement requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workflow execution, integration failures, and data synchronization between ServiceNow and Oracle EBS.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, business analysts, and the project team to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices, including update set management, scoped application development, and version control.
• Support testing (unit, integration, UAT) and provide documentation for configurations and customizations delivered.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands‑on experience with core ServiceNow development: client scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, and ACLs.
• Demonstrated expertise creating and administering ServiceNow workflows and/or Flow Designer flows.
• Solid foundational knowledge of the ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and administration.
• Experience with the ServiceNow Procurement (Sourcing/Procurement Management) application or comparable ITSM/ITBM module implementations.
• Experience building or consuming REST API integrations, including authentication, payload mapping, and error handling.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS data structures or prior experience integrating ServiceNow with ERP systems is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently in a client‑facing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interfacing with client technical and business teams.
