Job summary

Guidehouse Digital, LLC seeks a ServiceNow Developer to translate complex business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions. You will lead development, configure apps, and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives while mentoring other developers.

This role requires at least four years of experience, ability to obtain a SECRET clearance, and strong scripting (JavaScript), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub skills. Occasional travel and local DC metro area commuting may be needed.

Job Family: SAAS/PAAS/Cloud Application Development

What You Will Do

• Help translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.
• Lead the development of ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to other ServiceNow developers.
• Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
• Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
• Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
• Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform unit, system, and integration testing.
• Debug and fix technical problems.
• Support the development of detailed technical and functional documentation.
• Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
• Participate in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Minimum of FOUR (4) years of professional experience.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
• Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST, preferred.
• Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD) Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST preferred.
• Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
• General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
