Job summary

THE PANTHER GROUP is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead 2–4 cross-functional Agile teams, facilitating all core ceremonies and enabling the delivery of business value through iterative development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Scrum Master or similar Agile delivery role supporting software teams.
• Certifications: CSM, PSM II, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, or equivalent preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Jira; experience leveraging Jira AI and Copilot for forecasting, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and Scrum delivery metrics in scaled environments.
• Understanding SDLC and DevOps principles with CI/CD and automated quality practices.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead and enable high-performing Agile teams in delivering business value through iterative development. This role requires deep knowledge of Scrum practices, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles across complex, cross-team environments. The ideal candidate will leverage Jira AI and Copilot tools to streamline workflows, improve visibility, and enhance team productivity at scale. Key Responsibilities

• Scrum Leadership: Serve as Scrum Master for 2–4 cross-functional Agile teams, facilitating all core ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Agile Coaching: Coach multiple teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement, servant leadership, and cross-team collaboration.
• Scaled Planning: Lead and support quarterly and Program Increment (PI) planning activities by helping teams prepare inputs, surface and manage dependencies, and align sprint goals to broader objectives.
• AI Tool Enablement: Educate teams on utilizing Jira AI and Copilot for backlog refinement, sprint forecasting, automated reporting, generating insights, and improving communication efficiency.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze core Scrum delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, predictability, defect trends) to provide actionable insights that improve team performance.
• Alignment & Risk Management: Collaborate closely with Product Management, Agile Coaches, and Program Managers to ensure cross-team dependencies and risks are proactively identified and managed.
• DevOps & Delivery Integration: Partner with engineering teams to align Scrum practices with continuous delivery goals, promoting an understanding of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and test automation throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role supporting software and product teams.
• Certifications: CSM, PSM II, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, or equivalent preferred.
• Tools: Advanced proficiency in Jira; experience leveraging Jira AI and Copilot tools to optimize forecasting, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Frameworks & Metrics: Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time), and experience operating within scaled Agile environments.
• Technical Awareness: Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles, with a demonstrated ability to influence teams adopting CI/CD and automated quality practices.
• Preferred Skills Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution capabilities. Strong communication skills with a proven track record of influencing and partnering with Product and Engineering stakeholders across multiple teams. Ability to drive continuous improvement and team innovation using modern AI-powered tools. Industry experience within consumer-facing domains, specifically around launch management, customer loyalty programs, or marketing technology ecosystems.
