Hill International is recruiting a Senior Scheduler in Pomona, California, to schedule a programme of distribution projects running across more than thirty work groups, some of which require local permits to be tracked. The posting describes a hybrid working pattern and requires the post holder to be local to Southern California.
The scheduler is responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting the schedule so that major and multi-year projects finish on time. The work includes building new schedules, absorbing schedules already in use on parts of each project, and documenting delays so that time impact analysis can be carried out.
The post holder researches and analyzes scheduling data, presents results and recommendations on cost, programme and risk, and prepares project controls responses for governance, internal and external audit, rate cases and regulatory filings. Master integrated schedules, work breakdown structures and earned value calculations sit at the centre of the role, with forecasting, variance analysis and trend reporting.
Occasional site visits are expected, and the scheduler mentors other project controls staff. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, construction management, business, finance or project management, or equivalent experience, and seven years or more in scheduling on capital or construction projects. Primavera P6, SAP and Microsoft Office are required; utility experience and planning and scheduling or earned value certification are preferred.
The posting gives a salary range of $115,000 to $133,000. No closing date is published.
