Job Summary

B&A seeks a Salesforce Developer for a contract supporting a federal government client, specifically US Customs and Border Protection. You will work with a talented team to support this mission-critical project.

Responsibilities

1. Meet with project managers to determine CRM needs.
2. Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
3. Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
4. Create timelines and development goals.
5. Test application stability and functionality.
6. Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
7. Document processes and provide technical training for Salesforce staff.
8. Maintain application security and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, especially in user interface development on Salesforce.
• Salesforce Platform Developer Credential.

Skills

• Experience with complex business system integration, object-oriented design, and development.
• Proficiency with data-driven applications, relational databases, and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Expertise in Force.com Platform (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing).
• Knowledge of Java SE & EE (Java, JSF, SQL) is a plus.
• Experience with MVC and Lightning Component Framework.
• Understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (XP/SCRUM).
• Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML).
• Ability to test, debug, and deploy code across environments.

Additional Skills

• Experience with other CRM platforms (Microsoft CRM, InterAction, etc.) is preferred.
• Additional Salesforce Developer Credentials are desirable.

Security Clearance

• Eligible for DHS (CBP) Security Clearance.
• US Citizenship required; current clearance preferred.
