Company Summary: Our client based out of Kentucky is a North American leader in fully recyclable corrugated packaging. The (Sr.) Sales Rep will cover a territory including OH, KY and IN. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales of corrugated packaging products. This position plays a key role in supporting our lightweight packaging sales strategy and will work collaboratively with both technical experts and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

The (Sr.) Sales Rep has these key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage a dynamic pipeline of prospective and current accounts.
  • Expand Kruger's presence within existing accounts and actively pursue new clients to grow market share.
  • Proactively identify client needs and offer tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Qualify new opportunities and conduct outreach to establish lasting relationships and secure repeat business.
  • Oversee day-to-day account management, including documentation, credit processing, budgeting, forecasting, and collections.
  • Support contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve customer issues and maintain high service standards.
  • Focus on maximizing pricing while remaining competitive and managing production cost considerations.
  • Prepare regular reports on client interactions, sales activity, and any service concerns.
  • Work closely with technical reps to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

The (Sr.) Sales Rep should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
  • Strong motivation and disciplined work ethic.
  • Familiarity with the corrugated market in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.
  • Experience launching sales in new production facilities is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse customer bases.
  • Sharp analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities.
