Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr. Regional Facilities Manager to lead a high-performing team onsite in San Jose, CA, driving premier facilities operations for a premier technology client.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of facilities/operations or property management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent management, including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, performance management, employee development, and retention strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information, set clear performance expectations, influence stakeholders, and navigate sensitive situations.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience motivating and developing teams to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to think strategically while balancing day-to-day operational priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to analyze data and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level leadership to Facilities Managers and their teams.
  • Drive team and organizational success through cross-functional partnerships.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and business challenges across a dispersed portfolio.
  • Evaluate decisions with regional and organizational impact on operations and client satisfaction.
  • Continuously improve processes, procedures, and standards to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects across regions.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections ensuring regulatory compliance and cost savings opportunities.
  • Manage operating and capital budgets including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, serving as trusted advisor on facilities strategy.
  • Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, negotiating contracts and service delivery quality.
  • Champion environmental health and safety across all facilities.
  • Lead advanced training programs focused on maintenance operations and best practices.

What You Will Do
  • Provide senior-level leadership toFacilities Managers and their teams, fostering employee development throughcoaching, training, mentoring, and performance management.

  • Build and maintain strong clientrelationships, serving as a trusted advisor and leading discussions related tofacilities strategy, performance, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee vendor and contractorrelationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective service delivery.
  • Champion environmental health andsafety initiatives, promoting a culture of safety and regulatory complianceacross all facilities within the portfolio.
  • Lead advanced training programsfocused on maintenance operations, repair procedures, safety protocols, andfacilities management best practices.
  • Drive high-level problem-solving anddecision-making, addressing complex organizational challenges and implementinginnovative solutions where established processes may not exist.
  • Model and promote CBRE's RISE values,positively influencing stakeholders and fostering collaboration to achieveshared business objectives.
What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8years of relevant facilities, operations, or property management experience. Inlieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and professionalexperience will be considered. Prior people management experience is required.

California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Regional Facilities Manager position is $160,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $170,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
