Job Description

Your Role

The Senior Quality Systems Engineer leads the development and deployment of innovative quality systems, enhances efficiency, and ensures product standards. You will collaborate globally, mentor colleagues, and uphold compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global quality systems and processes.
• Partner with IT to define requirements for enterprise-wide Quality Management Systems.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Analyze data to identify improvement areas.
• Mentor and train staff on quality principles.
• Maintain documentation such as SOPs and manuals.
• Participate in regulatory and customer audits.
• Stay updated with industry trends.

Required Tools and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Quality Systems in manufacturing or corporate settings.
• 3+ years of auditing experience.
• Knowledge of QMS and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, UL).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma, Lean).
• Ability to travel up to 40% globally.

Preferred Tools and Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or Quality Management.
• Certification such as CQE or CQA.
• Experience in manufacturing of consumer products, electrical components, or motors.

Working Conditions

• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent computer use and communication.
