  • Establish and maintain quality control systems to ensure that products and processes conform to standards.
  • Develop quality plans for major weldments and assemblies.
  • Develop first article quality control and inspection plans.
  • Assess the need for weld-related improvements.

  • Drive improvement through RCCM (Root Cause Counter Measure) with the team to reduce COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality).
  • Ensure timely disposition of all non-conforming issues.
  • Develop and grow talent for direct reports in alignment with the company's culture.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a positive team environment.
  • Support ME/IE, Engineering, and warranty in failure analysis activities of OE product.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to quality processes and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in welding & fabrication manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards, techniques, and tools.
  • Strong knowledge in ISO 9001 quality management systems and internal auditing.
  • Experience with PDCA to drive quality improvement & problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of Lean Principles & improvements.

  • Experience developing and growing direct reports.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • CWI, MT, PT certification will be highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in heat treatment, machining, and mechanical assembly is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing APQP, Control Plan & PFMEA.
  • Working experience with SOLIDWORKS/SOLIDWORKS Inspection is a plus.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Full benefits offered - health, dental, vision, 401K, etc. Also, vacation will be provided. On top of vacation, the company is shutdown between Christmas and New Years, providing an extra week of vacation.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Milwaukee,WI.
