Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings in Lake Orion, Michigan is seeking a hands-on Quality Supervisor to lead quality processes in a high-volume warehouse environment supporting GM operations.

You will drive audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement, coach the quality team, and ensure compliance with customer quality standards while partnering with Operations, Materials, Maintenance, and Customer teams to resolve issues and improve KPIs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in quality, warehousing, manufacturing, automotive, or logistics operations.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and root cause investigations.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, corrective actions, and process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of customer quality requirements and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily quality activities across warehouse and production support operations.
• Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements, operating procedures, and work instructions.
• Lead quality inspections, audits, and corrective action processes.
• Investigate quality concerns, customer complaints, inventory discrepancies, and non-conformance issues.
• Analyze quality data and identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
• Partner with Operations, Materials, Maintenance, and Customer teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Monitor KPIs related to quality performance, customer satisfaction, accuracy, and process compliance.
• Conduct employee training on quality standards, procedures, and customer expectations.
• Ensure all quality documentation, reports, and records are maintained accurately.
• Support new program launches, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead internal audits and assist with customer audits as required.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and development for quality team members.
• Promote a culture focused on accountability, quality, safety, and customer service.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, quality reporting systems, and warehouse management systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to process compliance
