Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field is required.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Reliability Engineer, or Certified Quality Auditor is preferred.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, AS9100, and FAA regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Lean, SPC, and Value Stream Mapping is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and maintains quality assurance protocols to ensure AS9100 and FAA compliance.
  • Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective and preventive actions.
  • Performs internal audits and supports third-party audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborates with engineering, production, and supply chain to meet quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develops and maintains quality documentation including inspection and control plans.
  • Uses Lean, SPC, and Value Stream Mapping to optimize processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Develops, implements, and maintains quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and FAA regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and improve product quality.
  • Performs internal audits and supports third party audits (ex. AS9100) to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develops and maintains quality documentation, including inspection plans, control plans, and quality reports.
  • Utilizes advanced quality tools such as Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Value Stream Mapping to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provides training and support to team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitors and analyzes quality performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Supports new product development and introduction processes to ensure quality requirements are met from concept to production.
  • Leads and participates in improvement projects and initiatives.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Manufacturing/Assembly Operations, Quality, Engineering, and/or Procurement.
  • Knowledge Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards and FAA regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in advanced quality tools such as Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Reliability Engineer, and/or Certified Quality Auditor certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Proficiency with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing statistical methods, including process capability, Gage R&R, probability, and statistical inference.
