Job summary

RESPEC is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer III to join our team in support of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW). This role designs, develops, and maintains enterprise automated testing frameworks to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards.

The successful candidate will build scalable automation solutions across the full SDLC, including unit, functional, integration, API, regression, UAT, performance, and production validation

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software automation testing within enterprise apps.
• 5+ years designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• 4+ years with TDD/ATDD/BDD methods.
• 3+ years scripting automated tests using Selenium WebDriver, Grid, Jenkins, JUnit, or WebLOAD.
• 3+ years building automation framework components for reliable tests.
• 2+ years in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong Selenium WebDriver, CI/CD, and automated regression knowledge.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset focused on high-quality, bug-free software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise automated testing frameworks.
• Create automated tests for unit, functional, integration, API, regression, UAT, and production validation.
• Use AI-assisted testing tools to improve coverage and reliability.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and scripts aligned with requirements.
• Manage test case repository; keep assets current and reusable.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with devs, architects, and product owners.
• Analyze test results and perform root-cause analysis of defects.
• Develop dashboards and quality metrics for leadership.
