Job summary

System One in Merrifield, VA is seeking a Quality Engineering/Test Automation professional with 5–10 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions across web, mobile, API, CMS, and cloud-based applications. This role focuses on test automation, CI/CD integration, accessibility testing, and AI-driven testing.

The engineer will build automation frameworks and collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to improve software quality.

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in quality engineering or test automation.
Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
Strong experience with CI/CD and AI-assisted testing.
Accessibility testing knowledge (WCAG, ADA).
Experience testing web, mobile, API, CMS, and cloud-based applications.
Ability to apply AI to testing to accelerate test creation and defect analysis.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Execute functional, regression, API, accessibility, performance, and cross-browser testing.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams.
Apply AI-assisted testing to improve efficiency and coverage.
Continuously improve testing processes and tooling.
