Job summary

DRB Enterprises LLC in Franklin, TN seeks a construction estimator to develop and maintain cost effective new home construction estimates and budgets. You will review sales contracts, prepare estimates, and coordinate with trade partners and the Purchasing Manager.

The role requires take-offs, field visits to verify orders, and data entry into Newstar. Strong MS Excel skills, detail orientation, and prior residential building or estimating experience are essential.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency, especially MS Excel.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Knowledge of the new home construction process is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in residential homebuilding or estimating.

Responsibilities

• Review new home sales contracts and create construction estimates.
• Maintain construction budgets and ensure compliance.
• Prepare bid packages and submit to current and prospective trade partners.
• Take-offs for materials needed (lumber, trim, roofing, siding, etc.).
• Conduct field visits to verify ordered materials are not wasted.
• Assist Purchasing Manager with new community set up in Newstar.
