Job summary

DRB Enterprises LLC in Englewood, CO seeks a purchasing/estimating professional to prepare bid packages, take-offs, and field visits to ensure material orders are accurate and not wasted.

You will coordinate with Purchasing Manager and Community Builders to maintain scopes of work and trade partner contracts, while managing change orders and start packages.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) and ability to manage data.
• Experience with purchasing software; Newstar is a plus.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing workflows.
• Knowledge of residential homebuilding processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares bid packages and submits to current and prospective trade partners.
• Prepares take-offs for materials needed (lumber, trim, roofing, etc.).
• Conducts field visits to verify material orders are not wasted.
• Assists Purchasing Manager with Newstar community setup.
• Releases job start packages and processes change orders.
• Processes variance purchase orders and maintains trade partner files.
• Liaises between Division & Product Development to keep blueprints current.
• Works with Purchasing Manager and Community Builders to maintain scopes of work.
