The ideal candidate has 5+ years in property management, proficiency with Yardi, and excellent communication skills. This on-site role emphasizes multitasking and urgent issue resolution to keep operations

Qualifications

• College degree required or preferred; professional certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years minimum experience in a similar property management role.
• Yardi or other property management software experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, capable of leading a team.
• Excellent record keeping and file maintenance.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and oversee multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee marketing, maintenance, and leasing for the apartment community.
• Recruit, train, and develop on-site staff.
• Monitor financial performance of the community and drive results.
• Ensure rent is collected and posted accurately.
• Enter all leasing data into the on-site PM software system.
• Distribute tenant communications electronically, including late notices.
• Walk vacant units and maintain property grounds.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and order supplies with staff.

About this position

Real Estate Development and Property Management company is seeking an experienced Sr. Property Manager to work closely with all on-site apartment community operations including leasing, maintenance, and marketing. We're looking for a take charge leader to join our winning team!

Requirements:

• Manage all areas of marketing, maintenance, and leasing of our apartment community.
• Recruitment, training, and development of staff.
• Financial performance of the community.
• Ensure all rent is collected as due and posted correctly.
• Make sure issues are dealt with in a timely manner and that proper follow-through is completed.
• Ensure all unit, move-in, move-out and other leasing data is entered into the on-site property management software system.
• Manage and distribute tenant correspondence electronically, including late payment notices.
• Create Facebook Marketplace account to lease apartments.
• Walk vacant units and property grounds.
• Manage all maintenance requests and ordering of supplies with maintenance staff.

• Property Management Software experience (Yardi preferred).
