This hands-on leader partners with senior stakeholders to turn strategy into execution, scaling operations and delivering measurable results.

The role emphasizes governance, ROI analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid Southfield, MI environment, with travel as needed and a focus on delivering value across business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field.
• 8+ years of project or program management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements.
• Strong financial acumen (ROI, business case development, cost modeling).
• Executive‑level communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational, governance, and documentation capabilities. Proven ability to lead change management efforts.
• Experience with project and reporting tools (e.g., MS Planner, Power BI).
• PMP or equivalent certification (Preferred).
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, high-impact initiatives including new plant startups, product launches, and enterprise transformation efforts
• Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, organized, and communicated across teams
• Operate within established project governance structures and help strengthen them
• Partner directly with senior leadership to drive alignment across business units
• Develop business cases including ROI analysis, cost modeling, and benefit realization
• Validate initiatives against strategic objectives and long-term business goals
• Support long-range planning, identifying interdependencies across programs
• Lead governance meetings, including steering committees and executive updates
• Proactively identify and manage organizational, operational, and financial risks
• Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of key initiatives
• Lead communication strategies across executive and cross-functional audiences
• Track adoption and business impact, providing clear performance updates

Job Summary

THIS IS NOT AN IT OR TECH OPPORTUNITY, BUT OPERATIONS/MANF SETTING.

Lead large, complex, and strategic projects intended to deliver business wide transformations and achieve critical business initiatives. The Sr. Project Manager ensures business cases and business requirements are effectively defined, that stakeholder alignment is achieved, long-term program planning processes are established, and the intended results are achieved on time.
