About The Job
We are seeking a Product Manager with an interest in finance, excellent analytical skills, and strong business judgment. The role focuses on automating Hopper’s financial reporting, reporting to the VP of Finance Operations and Control. You will manage the project management of Finance Automation (FinAut), leading a team of developers, and aligning priorities with North Star Objectives.

Part of your responsibilities include implementing process improvements and automation initiatives. You will oversee a team of engineers, with high autonomy and accountability. The main product supported is a finance ledger consolidating data sources for financial reporting, partner billing, invoice reconciliation, and internal analysis.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement the FinAut roadmap in collaboration with finance engineering leadership and stakeholders.
2. Identify opportunities for FinAut to contribute to finance growth and risk management.
3. Define and gather requirements for team projects.
4. Prioritize and triage engineering requests, making quick decisions to address urgent issues.
5. Monitor project progress against goals and provide a business perspective on technical decisions.
6. Ensure data integrity of the financial ledger, collaborating with business and product teams on complex data issues.

Ideal Candidate

• 3-4 years of product management experience, preferably with financial data products.
• Strong data analysis skills; SQL knowledge is mandatory.
