$150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Job Description

We are seeking a senior-level Manager with a strong background in finance and enterprise systems to lead and advise clients on ERP selection, implementation, and optimization projects. This role is ideal for a former CFO, Controller, or Senior Financial Consultant with external consulting experience, ERP or other enterprise systems knowledge, and hands-on leadership of ERP projects. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, a driver, and a trusted advisor to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and guidance for ERP or other enterprise software implementations as needed by clients.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams (CFOs, CIOs, COOs) throughout the ERP lifecycle.
• Conduct business process reviews, gap analyses, and requirements gathering sessions.
• Offer strategic guidance on ERP system selection based on organizational needs and our methodology.
• Develop project plans, risk management strategies, and change management initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure financial and operational requirements are translated into system functionality.
• Manage stakeholder communications and provide executive-level reporting.
• Mentor client teams during all project phases.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of professional experience in finance roles (e.g., CFO, Controller, Senior Financial Consultant).
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and their impact on financial and operational processes.
• Led at least two full ERP implementations as a project lead, stakeholder, or consultant.
• Experience in external consulting environments (preferably mid-sized or large firms) is highly preferred.
• PMP certification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication, client management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience across industries and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or higher degree preferred.
