Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager for our Commercial Land Development team in Raleigh, NC.

You will lead projects from feasibility through design, permitting, and construction support, managing client relationships with developers, builders, and landowners. You’ll coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and supervise other technical staff while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and clear communication across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental or scientific field.
• Professional registration (P.E., L.S.) in one or more states preferred.
• 6+ years of civil engineering or related experience.
• Strong understanding of project accounting and ability to manage schedule and budget for multiple projects.
• Experience in marketing and supervision of technical staff.
• Working knowledge of technical and office software.
• Maintains a professional attitude with clients and staff.
• Effective communication and teamwork to meet deadlines.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Design portions of a project using relevant office software.
• Perform calculations using engineering formulas to solve problems.
• Prepare specifications and materials through research and catalogs for materials, installation, inspection, and payment.
• Develop design details and plan sets.
• Assist in preparing engineering and construction cost estimates.
• Communicate with client, staff and internal design team.
