Job summary

Timmons Group is hiring a Civil Project Engineer to join our Public Land Development team in Raleigh, NC. You will work with a team of design engineers and a project manager to deliver civil site plans for schools, parks, and fire stations, from entitlements through construction support.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree and 2–8+ years of land development experience, with EIT preferred and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering with land development coursework.
• 2-8+ years of land development civil engineering experience.
• EIT preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Design portions of a project using Civil 3D and related software.
• Complete calculations and use models to solve problems.
• Prepare specifications and material lists for project components.
• Develop design details and plan sets.
• Assist in cost estimates and data collection.
• Coordinate with client staff and internal team.
• Perform field observation and data collection as directed.
