Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking a motivated Civil Project Engineer I for its Wilmington, NC office to support land development projects. You will participate in design, analysis, and coordination with clients and internal teams to advance large-scale civil infrastructure for commercial and residential sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field with coursework in land development/water resources.
• EIT preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design project components using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other industry-standard software.
• Complete calculations using engineering formulas and related tools to solve problems.
• Research and prepare material specifications, installation guidelines, and inspection protocols.
• Work to complete design details and plan sets.
• Complete field observation, inspection and data collection duties as directed by senior staff.
• Collaborate with client staff and internal design team as directed by senior staff.
• Contribute to cost estimates and technical reports driving project success.
