Senior Project Manager

Location: Fort Myers, FL

Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage various commercial construction projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of the construction process, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Description
  • Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects valued up to $100 million, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met and stakeholder expectations are exceeded.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements on site.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to overcome challenges.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any issues that arise.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders to ensure project alignment and collaboration.
  • Prepare and present project updates, financial reports, and documentation to senior management and clients.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and other team members.
Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects up to $100 million.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management practices, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of Florida Construction Market including building codes.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD).

  • Analytical skills, with the ability to read, interpret and develop statistical reports.
  • Must be able to read and interpret building and site plans and specifications.
  • Must be able to prepare cost estimates and project schedules.
  • Proficient with ProCore or similar software.
