Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex projects from initiation to closure. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop schedules, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while driving risk management and continuous improvement.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Mega Projects and offers a hybrid work arrangement from Houston, TX or Rosemont, IL with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and performance excellence.

Job description

As a Sr Project Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing projects. You will be responsible for overseeing project activities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Your strong project management skills, technical expertise, and ability to drive results will be essential in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

You will report directly to our Senior Director of Mega Projects, and you’ll work out of our location in Houston Tx or Rosemont, IL/DesPlaines on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact efficient project execution, risk management, cost control, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, communication, issue resolution, strategic planning, process optimization, data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and mentoring. You are pivotal in ensuring project success, which, in turn, contributes to the organization's overall success and competitiveness in the market.

You Must Have

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Expertise in risk management, cost control, and quality assurance to ensure project delivery within scope and budget
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
We Value
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable
  • Experience in leading and managing projects of varying complexity

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $176,000 - $218,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $218,000 - $262,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
