Honeywell, a global leader in industrial technology, is seeking an Sr IT Project Management Specialist in Atlanta, GA. You will lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, align project strategies with business objectives, and partner with senior executives to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will report to the Director of IT Program Management and operate on a hybrid work schedule from Atlanta.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• 3+ years of mentoring a high-performing team.
• 3+ years delivering complex IT projects within scope, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from initiation through closure using established PM methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigations.
• Coordinate resources, including internal teams and external vendors, to ensure success.
• Communicate status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement in PM processes and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, including at least experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• 3+ years of experience in inspiring and mentoring a high-performing team with strong leadership skills
• 3+ years of experience in delivering complex IT projects, meeting quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

• Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar.
