My Hr in the United States seeks a Sr Project Manager to lead the statewide AL Laptop Refresh project for Admin and Legal staff. You will manage procurement, configuration, scheduling, deployment, and close-out, coordinating a diverse team of technical and soft-skilled talent.

You will conduct stakeholder meetings, establish transparent communications, and report program status through dashboards and regular updates, ensuring compliance with statewide guidance and contracting requirements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years progressive IT project management experience, including hardware deployment
• Experience coordinating enterprise refresh programs and vendor management
• Ability to communicate clearly with executives, technical teams and end users

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring and closure for the laptop refresh program
• Manage project schedule, scope, risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables
• Coordinate with AL leadership, Service Desk, IT Operations, Enterprise Information Security, Asset Management
• Oversee deployment logistics: imaging, scheduling, on-site assignments, and blocker mitigation
• Partner with refresh teams to ensure hardware delivery and readiness
• Align activities with state standards and contracting requirements
• Prepare regular status reports, dashboards and stakeholder communications
• Maintain plans, RAID logs, change control, acceptance criteria and close-out packages
• Drive process improvements based on lessons learned

Sr Project Manager

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the procurement, configuration, scheduling, deployment and close-out of new devices for Admin and Legal staff statewide. A successful candidate will have the ability to organize a diverse team of technical and soft skilled talent, conduct meetings with stakeholders, establish effective communications, maintain a high degree of project transparency, and accurately report program status throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for the AL Laptop Refresh Project.
• Manage project schedule, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate closely with A&L leadership, Service Desk, IT Operations, Enterprise Information Security, and Asset Management teams.
• Oversee daily deployment logistics including device imaging, scheduling of staff appointments, on site technician assignments, tracking of completion counts, and mitigation of deployment blockers.
• Partner with client's refresh teams to ensure smooth hardware delivery, readiness, and deployment.
• Ensure all activities align with OAG standards, statewide guidance, and company's contracting requirements.
• Prepare and deliver regular status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain project documentation including plans, RAID logs, change control, acceptance criteria, and close out packages.
• Support improvement of refresh processes for follow on divisions, reflecting lessons learned from the AL rollout.

Minimum Qualifications

• 12 required progressive IT project management experience. Demonstrated leadership of hardware deployment or enterprise refresh programs.
• 12 preferred Expertise in SDLC, PMBOK, Agile delivery coordination, change management, and enterprise IT operations.
• 12 preferred Proven ability to communicate clearly with executives, technical teams, and end users. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple vendors and cross functional teams.
• 12 preferred Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and standard OAG workflow tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CSM, or ITIL certifications.
• Experience with Texas state agencies.
• Prior experience supporting statewide IT.
• Experience organizing logistics for deployments exceeding 800+ devices.
