The Connexa Search Group is working with a strong firm in the Greenville area looking for a Senior Project Accountant to join their team! The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably within construction or a related industry. This role is instrumental in supporting project financials from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage financial performance of active projects
• Prepare project billings, forecasts, and cost reports
• Collaborate with project managers to maintain budget alignment
• Perform month-end close and job cost analysis
• Ensure compliance with company policies and project-specific requirements
• Assist with audits and provide financial support to leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of project accounting experience (construction or similar industry preferred)
• Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, and contract billing
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (experience with construction accounting platforms is a plus)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
